As a local, sustainable, organic enterprise (see here for more info) our Tractor Seat Happy Planet Family Group is a model that benefits its subscribing members (potentially you), the local community, the environment and us as a small-batch, organic producer.  By focusing on direct sales to you, the members, we aim to avoid the need for traditional distribution and marketing. These savings are passed on to our members (20% discount). For an up-front purchase of 12 or more bottles of wine (1 case) with a 10% discount you can become a member of the Happy Planet Family and subsequently order deliveries of Oranje Tractor wine at a substantial 20% discount along with other bonuses over a 12-month period by simply signing up to receive our newsletters. Plus there's the the added satisfaction gained from supporting the local community.

 

Benefits

The main benefit to you is that you secure limited-edition, small-batch, organically grown wine that is available for retail purchase only in Albany and at a very limited supply for a whopping 20% off those retail prices. It also gives you the opportunity to support us as a local, organic and sustainable producer.

However, there's more to be had than just fair-priced organically grown wine, like access to special events and discounts for other organic & sustainable products. Happy Planet members will be invited to our members-only Parties, and can enjoy a free Wine Flight matched with tastings of local produce each year at the Oranje Tractor Tasting Room.

  • Free freight in Australia on all case orders, including any additional ones

  • Free Wine Flight at the Oranje Tractor Tasting room for member and one guest (Valued @ $50) or 20% discount on the Organic Orchard Tour

2.  Chrome Tractor Seat

  • Six bottles billed & delivered twice per year (12 in total = 1 case)*

  • Delivered May (Reds) and November (Mixed)

  • 20% off retail wine price (all wine at all times)

  • Maximum charge per case/year $312*

  • Invitation to members only Pick-up parties & to Harvest parties

  • Priority access to all events via advanced notice

3.  Green Tractor Seat - ALBANY only

  • 1 case of wine (12 bottles) split into one, two or three deliveries per year & billed accordingly

  • Free local delivery** by our orange electric cargo bike

    • one, annually in July (Mixed)

    • two, May (Reds) & November (Whites)

    • three, April (Reds), July (Mixed) & December (Whites)

  • Maximum charge per case/year $312

  • Invitation to members only Pick-up parties, & to Harvest parties

Note: Membership of the Tractor Seat CSA Group is FREE if you buy a case of 6 or more at your first purchase. You are also welcome to join for a once-off registration levy of $50 per person if you are buying less than 12 bottles.

Pick-up parties

French Fouees

No, it's not what it sounds like!  Rather, we will host the following parties to enable local members and others who may be visiting again to collect their wine directly from the Oranje Tractor Farm, and have a drink and bite to eat on us!  If you can't make it, no sweat we'll just deliver your wine through the regular channels.

  • April – Live music and light hors d’oeuvres

  • November - Fouees (puffy French bread pockets - a tradition of the Loire region, filled with rillets or pulled pork, white beans, goats cheese & mushrooms) from the wood-fired oven

Harvest Parties

You will be invited to participate in the various harvest activities, ranging from picking olives and grapes through to selecting citrus fruit for making marmalade.  Stay on to learn some "Granny Skills" if you like, for a small fee to cover consumables such as jars.  Or you could upcycle your own.

GROUP size

Limited to 300 members.
